I can’t believe I’m already posting Caroline’s six month pictures. How has half a year gone by already?
Caroline is so much fun and we adore watching her explore the world around her. She is currently popping up two teeth, and is being quite the champ. We have tried carrots, peas (yuck!), and bananas. Caroline rolls (both ways), and she’s working on sitting up on her own. She still loves her puppies and will soon be chasing after them.
Oh, Caroline. We love you so much!
I. Love. Baby. Bundles.
Capturing a baby over his/her first year of life is like watching a miracle unfold. Literally. Just three short months ago I photographed Kenna’s newborn session. I was able to photograph her and big sister Klaire again this past week, and oh what fun! The changes that happen in just three months is astounding. These girls are sweet as can be, and I am so looking forward to continuing documenting Kenna’s first year.
Enjoy part 1 of our three month session.
Caroline turned 5 months when we were down in Arizona, and the weather was just perfect for some pictures.
Leah Marie – one week new.
I could not have been more honored to spend time with the growing G family. The love that radiates from new parents is so powerful, and the emotion behind these pictures is no exception.
Thank you, Nick + Aly, for inviting me into your home. It was the perfect way to spend an afternoon!
Introducing the beautiful Leah Marie – 4 days new!
This week I had the pleasure to photograph the H family and their precious new bundle. Baby K is two weeks old and is so clearly loved. She has one proud new big sister, too!
Lucky for me, this is the first shoot of a baby bundle, which means I’ll be seeing these beautiful girls and their parents throughout Baby K’s first year. It will be so fun to see the love between these two sisters continue to grow!
This week Caroline will be 2 months old. Oh where does the time go!? It is so fun to watch her explore and learn about the world around her.
We had her 2-month appointment this week and she weighed in at a whopping 9lbs 11 oz and was 22 inches long. She has also officially outgrown her newborn clothes and can finally wear the outfits I bought her when she was born. As much as I love seeing her grow, it is a little sad to be putting away the clothes she has outgrown.

Hello and happy, happy Valentine’s Day! The weather has been so cold lately that we have not been too motivated to get out of the house. My husband and I had planned on going out for a nice dinner last night, but decided at the last minute to stay in and cook our dinner instead. It was so nice! Today, we spent our day at church and running errands, but we were able to squeeze in a nice lunch. We snuggled on the couch for the remainder of the afternoon and evening.
I can’t believe Caroline is already 6 weeks old, which also means I’m halfway through my maternity leave. I love looking back at her pictures and seeing how much she has changed already. She definitely is her daddy’s mini me!
